After School & Holiday Camp Coordinator

Swedish International School of Geneva (SISOG) is a private bilingual preschool and primary school for children ages 1-12 offering instruction in English, Swedish, French. Our school is located in Meyrin. We are looking for a new member to our after school team.

In the position described as After School & Holiday Camp Coordinator you would be a fully integrated part in the After School team but also serving as the primary point of contact for families inscribed in our After School or Holiday Camp programs, providing information and guidance.

The After School & Holiday Camp Coordinator would also be responsible for the planning, organisation, and supervision of the afterschool programs and holiday camps. Reporting directly to the Head of Primary, the coordinator ensures high-quality extracurricular activities that align with the school's values and educational philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. After School Program Management

  • Develop, schedule, and oversee engaging After School activities for students.

  • Coordinate with teachers, external providers, and staff to ensure a diverse and enriching program.

  • Schedule, plan and oversee After School staff

  • Monitor student participation, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.

  • Manage registration, attendance, and communication with parents.

2. Holiday Camp Coordination

  • Plan and organize themed holiday camps during school breaks.

  • Schedule, plan and oversee camp staff, ensuring a high standard of activities and student engagement.

  • Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and facility use.

  • Promote holiday camps to parents and manage enrollment.

3. Operational & Administrative Duties

  • Daily and weekly communication with families, staff and external actors.

  • Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and safeguarding policies.

  • Manage program budgets, invoices, and resource procurement.

  • Regularly assess and improve After School and holiday programs based on feedback.

  • Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and leadership.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the Head of Primary to align programs with the school's mission.

  • Liaise with external organizations and partners to enhance offerings.

  • Provide regular reports on participation, feedback, and program impact.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in education, program coordination, or youth development.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Ability to engage with children, staff, and parents effectively.

  • Fluent in English and French (Swedish is a plus).

  • Passion for creating meaningful extracurricular experiences for students.

The position is offered at 70–80% employment, with approximately 20% of the workload dedicated to administrative tasks.
