Litter-picking: Students and staff regularly participate in litter-picking events around the school and the local area. These activities promote environmental stewardship while encouraging teamwork and a sense of responsibility to the larger community.
Gardening in the shared garden: Tending to our community garden is a collective effort, where students and teachers come together to nurture the plants and care for the space. This shared responsibility teaches students about sustainability and the value of contributing to something larger than themselves.
Mindfulness of our neighbours: Being a part of Les Vergers in Meyrin means being good neighbours. We teach our students to be considerate, whether it’s lowering noise levels during outings or showing respect for others in shared spaces.
School Song: A fun and creative expression of our unity is the School Song, which brings students, teachers, and even families together to celebrate our school pride and community spirit through music and collaboration.
Visits to Recycling Facilities: As part of our commitment to environmental awareness, we organise visits to local recycling sites. These outings provide students with hands-on learning experiences, teaching them the importance of sustainability and how it impacts the community and world at large.
